| Molly's temporary accessory! Poor little Molly had a small procedure Thursday last week. Yesterday she decided that trying to scratch her wound where the stitches were was a good idea. Unfortunately this meant another trip to the vet and this is how they decided would prevent her doing any more damage. She isn't impressed at all with her temporary accessory... Perhaps she is disappointed that it isn't hot pink!?Whilst she is under the weather she is getting lots of love (not that is she isn't smothered with love every other day)!! We slept in so there wasn't lots left, still I was able to find some lovely things. It had been raining and cement floors were very wet... As per usual I had pre-photographed every thing during the week. It was all ready to go. But here I sit at 5am and I can't press the publish button.You see yesterday something very sad happened to someone close to me. Something that has dampened my spirits, weighted my heart and stolen my good mood. So today I decided I can't pretend to be happy. I cant pretend the world is good and everything is great. If you would be so kind, I need your advice...My new years resolution was to stop studying my Masters and instead study interior design/decorating... finally, after all these years I have given myself permission!If I am to move out of the medical world I need to be a credible decorator, so I am striking while the iron is hot! It's Australia Day today. And the sun is shining. We are off to take our little four legged, furry babies to the dog cafe for some play time. I thought I would celebrate Australia Day by showing you some lovely Australian flora. It's not my usual pretty arrangement but it is Australia Day and given the heat we have been experiencing, these hardy little babies are the only thing that will stay alive in my home at the moment. I went on a hunt this morning in Sydney and couldn't find a thing. The thing is, I don't want something stock standard, I would love ones that are feminine, pretty colours, perhaps some detailing. Doesn't sound like that difficult a task but in Sydney it is at the moment. I would even purchase ones online but even that is proving a dead end. Has anyone got any suggestions for me?
