Warning: This is a very long post. A lot happened.Yesterday we did have some time to get further in this wonderful 16-bit video game.  And it was very successful!!  My sister and I make a great MMX team.Okay, so here’s what happened.  I wanted to try the level with the Sting Chameleon boss first.  I said, “Go Fire Mega Man”…It was an unsuccessful attempt; maybe X needed more weapons than the storm tornado, the ice and the fire.  So then I moved on to the level with the Launch Octopus boss.“Get get get go go go go go…! Go go go go go go go go go…! It’s 2 (HP) versus 2 (HP)…(Both my sis and I shout: ) NOOOOOO!!!!!”I almost made it that time.  Launch Octopus had two hit points left, and so did X, but he got me first. We now have a warning from National Public Radio (NPR) that seems like a sick joke, that Solar Storms Could Be Earth’s Next Katrina. Yet, too often today’s sick joke turns out to be tomorrow’s apocalypse. How come? If you look in the linked article’s photo of the northern lights, the green halo of the lights dance over the Knik River near Palmer, Alaska. It is reminiscent of the green halo of light generated in HAARP experiments. I don’t mean to harp on HAARP, but the recent wave of weather anomalies now flooding the news raise the possibility of apocalypse here, there and everywhere. No Tsunami warning has been issued.A powerful 6.4-magnitude earthquake rocked southern Taiwan on Thursday, terrifying residents, disrupting communications and triggering at least one large fire. Twelve people were injured, the National Fire Agency said. No tsunami alert was issued.
