The Fall / Winter 2009 GUESS Accessories Campaign paints a picture of the glamorous, luxe lifestyle that is synonymous with GUESS. Set in an intimate, boutique hotel, the eye is immediately taken behind closed doors and drawn into seductive close up product shots. The campaign is extremely focused, centering around the GUESS girl and her love affair with her accessories. It is an update to the old saying that diamonds are a girls best friend, showing that the right handbags, shoes, and eyewear can also take on that much coveted role. Handbags in rich purples, blues and reds make a strong fashion statement against the ice blue hotel walls lined with eggplant carpeting. Close up product shots focus in on the accessory as well as the girl who carries it. Seductive red nails grasp the studded totes in a playful manner. Structured color-blocked handbags in bright colorways are contrasted by neutral, bohemian inspired totes. Strappy high-heel sandals, sexy animal print pumps and signature boots styles are shown in alluring poses, as if flirting with the consumer. Facial close ups come into play with the mens and womens eyewear shots. The images scream glamour with oversized tinted frames and stylish aviator sunglasses.
